Sawyer's First Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!
Looking at the goodies the Easter Bunny left!
Of course she liked the wrapping paper the best!
The Easter Bunny left Sawyer a chick that you wind up and it hops around. She loves to watch it hop!
After church we went to my Dad's house to feed Sawyer and change clothes before the Dalton family picnic lunch. Sawyer was tired and hungry and was not into taking pictures but I had to get some of her in her dress. A lady my aunt works with made this dress for Sawyer. Sawyer is very into ribbons right now so she loved wearing it. All the ribbons and netting occupied her during church!
My mom has a picture of me on my first Easter that looks very similar to this. I love it! She looks so little and that is my favorite tree in the background. It is a weeping cherry tree in my dad's yard!
Our family on Easter! Sawyer was more interested in watching my dad's dog Lexi than smiling for the photo!
CD, Sawyer and I at the Dalton family Easter picnic. Sawyer was sporting her new hat. Doesn't she just look like Minnie Pearl without the price tag hanging down!
Gigi and Sawyer at the picnic!
Trying out the walker for the first time at Grammy and Papaw's house for Easter dinner. She did great in it. She could actually move around! My cousin made that headband for her for Easter. It is ribbons in the shape of a bunny. Too cute!

A week before Easter we took Sawyer to the Easter Egg hunt at church. It was pouring rain that day, so the festivities had to take place inside. Sawyer didn't care though. She enjoyed watching all of the other kids run around.
Sawyer did actually pick up a few eggs with the help of Mommy and Daddy, but she found it much more fun to play in the big tub of eggs after the egg hunt was over!
What else would you do with an egg the size of you? Of course you would eat it!! This just shows what Sawyer does with everything these days...chew on it!
